First experiences with a new flexible single-use rhino-laryngoscope with working channel - a preliminary study

Reprocessing of reusable endoscopes is subject to increasingly strict hygiene requirements. Especially endoscopes with working channel have to pass a validated automatic reprocessing process and are therefore time- and cost-consuming. Alternatively, a single-use system is available on the market. It consists of a single-use endoscope and a portable, reusable monitor with picture and video memory function. Aim of the study was to gain first experiences with that new endoscope-system.
