摘要
Novel reversible photochromic materials consisting of bespoke poly(ionic liquid) matrices and hybrid organic–inorganic polyoxometalates are presented by Graham N. Newton, Victor Sans, and co-workers in article number 1800159. The unique photo and redox properties of the nanostructured polyoxometalates are translated across the scales (from molecular design to functional materials) to yield macroscopic functional devices with reversible photochromism.
