Research progress on murine models of acute lung injury/acute respiratory distress syndrome

Acute lung injury (ALI) and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) are severe inflammatory lung diseases associated with very high mortality,but their pathogenesis is not full understood.Most of the study about ALI/ARDS do their researches on different animal models caused by different pathogenic factors,and then study the whole pathophysiological processes and treatments.Therefore,the studies of animal models of ALI/ARDS are always researchers' concentrations and hotspots.This article will review the current progress of the murine models of ALI/ARDS.
