摘要
The growth and biomass production of twelve provenances of Eucalyptus urophylla planted in the degenerated sal forest areas of Bangladesh were studied at the age of 7 years at Charkai, Dinajpur and 7.5 years at Charaljani Silvicultural Research Station, Tangail District. The provenances showed significant differences in height and diameter (dbh) growth, though the final survival % was quite lower at Charaljani Station. However, the solo superiority of the provenances are not consistent in both the Research Stations. Among the 12 different provenances Mt. Wuko, Flores, IND-12897 produced maximum (14.9 t/ha/yr.) above-ground oven dry biomass at Charkai and Boka Afeng IND-11871 (12.4 t/ha./yr.) at Charaljani followed by Mt. Lewotoki, IND-13011 (11.7 t/ha./yr.) and IIwaki, Water Is, IND-11887 (11.4 t/ha./yr.) respectively.
