摘要
Two approaches have been established to study the effect of texturing scales on the anti-fingerprint and self-clean performances. In the first, we have analyzed the mechanical response of a dry finger when it is loaded over different textures. A contact model was developed to measure the real touched area. The second approach aims to highlight the effect of texturing on the interaction between fingerprint liquids and textured surfaces. A wetting model was performed to examine the wetting behavior of the previously simulated textures. The results issued from the two approaches were discussed and correlated with each other. It clearly shows the potential effect of texture scales on the achievement of anti-fingerprint functions and delineates the superior functionality of hierarchical textures.
