摘要
Due to unintentional exposures through air or at work or intentional exposure to nanoparticles (NPs), humans and animals are at a risk of neurodegeneration and suffer from neurotoxicity and associated inflammation stress, and altered biochemical and genetic expression. Due to their property of crossing the blood-brain bareer, they have been proved of their potential neurotoxic effects on the central nervous sytem. In this chapter, we discuss the different effects of NPs inducing neutotoxicty in animal cell lines and human system.
