摘要
The article addresses the urgent task of enhancing the efficiency of foreign language teaching for non-linguistic university students through the implementation of modern communicative technologies. The research aims to provide a theoretical substantiation and a detailed description of the methodology for applying Digital Storytelling and Case Study technologies to develop the foreign language communicative competence of non-linguistic bachelor students. The article analyzes the didactic potential, methodological features, and conditions for the effective use of these technologies; it further develops a methodology for working with Digital Storytelling and Case Study, tests a set of assignments, and evaluates the effectiveness of the proposed approach. The scientific novelty of the study lies in detailing the pedagogical scenario for these technologies, which links the theoretical modules of the foreign language course with digital communication practice. Particular attention is paid to intercultural communication and the creation of an authentic linguistic context. As a result of the research, the key didactic advantages and potential risks of implementing these communicative technologies were identified and systematized. The practical outcome is the development of a methodology and specific recommendations for the successful integration of these technologies into university foreign language instruction. It is proven that such an approach significantly increases academic motivation and personal involvement, facilitating a transition from passive knowledge acquisition to the active creation of a digital communicative product in the target language.
