Metal‐Organic Polyhedra and Covalent Organic Polyhedra

In this chapter, we provide an overview of the different structure types of discrete metal-organic polyhedra (MOPs) and covalent organic polyhedra (COPs). Strategies to target discrete reticular materials rather than extended 2D and 3D frameworks are described. Geometric requirements for the building units are elucidated and illustrative examples for COPs and MOPs of the different accessible topologies are highlighted.
