Corrigendum: Role of yes‐associated protein in interleukin‐13 induced nasal remodeling of chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps

To Editor: In Feb 2021, we published a letter titled "Role of yes-associated protein in interleukin-13 induced nasal remodeling of chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps" in Allergy (PMID: 33301614; 10.1111/all.14699). Recently, an error was spotted in the typesetting figures of this letter that likely occurred during the revision of the paper. In Fig 2 (I), a wrong image is inserted in the place of the original, correct figure when we are revising the manuscript following peer review. As a result, the immunofluorescence image of MUC5AC and YAP labeled "D24: IL-13+VP" is a duplicate of Fig 1(T) picture labeled "D24 CTRL" (Figure 1). We would like to emphasize, however, that this error did not affect the results and conclusion of the article as the error stemmed from misplacing of the IF image at the wrong grouping column during the preparation of the manuscript revision. We apologize for the oversight when checking the manuscript during revision which impacted the journal and caused confusion to the readers. This mistake serves as a lesson to be doubly rigorous and careful in preparing and vetting manuscripts, especially when many subfigures are involved. We sincerely apologize to the journal and readers of the journal. We have now corrected the error in the article. In this corrigendum to the original article, we have included a revised Fig 2 (I) with the right staining image as shown in this corrigendum (Figure 2), to address the error in the original article. The authors have no conflicts of interest to declare. All the authors are aware of the mistake and approve of the amendment.
