The Performance Comparison Between Loose Coupling and Tight Coupling of GPS/INS Integrated Navigation System

In this paper,the Algorithm of tight coupling of the integrated navigation system is studied;and the precision in different coupling mode for GPS/INS integrated navigation system is also analyzed by simulationwhen the performance of INS become degraded.It turns out that GPS/INS integrated navigation system based on tight coupling can get higher precision than that by GPS/INS integrated navigation system based on loose coupling.The conclusion is proven correct via simulation.
