Morphological Character and Distribution of Phases in Sintered NdFeB Magnets

The morphological character and distribution of phases in sintered NdFeB magnets were studied by SEM and EDAX.The results show that there are some defects in the sintered magnets,such as the enrichment of Nd-rich phase;the agglomeration of grains with small size;the pores among or in the grains.These deteriorate the density and uniformity of the magnets.
