Extracorporeal Shock Wave in Treating 32 Cases of Shoulder Pain

Objective To observe the curative effect of extracorporeal shock wave for the treatment of shoulder pain.Methods 64 patients were randomly assigned to extracorporeal shock wave group and acupuncture group,and Constant-Murley scores of shoulder joint were used to evaluate the treatment outcome of two groups.Results After 3 weeks,the Constant-Murley scores of shoulder joint were increased in both groups,and the increasing amplitude of extracorporeal shock wave group was higher than that of acupuncture group(P0.05).Conclusion Extracorporeal shock wave has good effects on shoulder pain.
