clinical analysis of 20 cases with acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis

Objectives:To understand and distinguish clinicial features of disease with Acute Generalized Exanthemtous Pustulosis(AGEP).Methods:Twenty cases of AGEP are retrospectively analyized by reviewing medical literature.Results:of 20 patients with AGEP,18 are drug induced and the other 2 are not clear.Typically AGEP is characterized by a wide spread sterile pustular rash occurring suddently with fever on scarlatiniform erythema.Concl usions:Drugs are the major that cause AGEP,As more antibiotical drugs are available and AGEP shows increasing tendency in number,it is necessary that we make a correct diagnosis for AGEP and differentiate it from other pustulosis such as pustualar psoriasis,subcorneal pustular dermatosis et al
