Post-operative Radiotherapy for Keloid of 117 Glioma Patients

Objective:To evaluate the effect of Radiotherapy for keloid. Methods:From October,1992 to May,2003,117 patients with keloid were treated by post-operative radiotherapy. The dose of total was 12～24Gy. Results:All patients didn’t occur side effect of obvious. The overall response rates were 94.0%. Keloid site of the patients received early post-operative(within a week) radiotherapy were obvious effect than others. Conclusions:Surgery plus radiotherapy is one of effective methode of keloid. It is suggested that received early post-operative radiotherapy for keloid.
