Study on Circulative and Self-foamed Drilling Fluid

A circulative and self-foamed drilling fluid, composed of polymer base mud and foam-generating agents, is introduced in this paper. Laboratory evaluation indicates this mud can meet the requirements of conventional drilling operation and perform well by addition of foam-generating agents.This drilling fluid is suitable for under-balanced wells.
