Optimal wide-gap-zone frequency hopping sequences

In this paper, we generalize the concept of wide-gap frequency hopping sequences (WG-FHSs) to wide-gap-zone frequency hopping sequences (WGZ-FHSs) by placing restrictions on the parameters. Then we derive a lower bound on the maximum periodic Hamming correlation of WGZ-FHSs. Further, we give a construction for optimal WGZ-FHS sets with respect to the new bound.
