Photoinduced allylic defluorinative alkylation of trifluoromethyl alkenes with Katritzky salts under catalyst- and metal-free conditions

A photoinduced method for the synthesis of gem -difluoroalkenes using trifluoromethyl alkenes and Katritzky salts under catalyst- and metal-free conditions is described.
