摘要
In this paper, the propagation properties of a finite energy Airyprime (FEA) beam in atmospheric turbulence are investigated. With different source parameters, the beam type presents different beam distributions, and the beam wander and scintillation of FEA beams in turbulence are discussed. It is demonstrated that for the larger Airy control parameter α or a smaller beam waist parameter w0, the beam wander of FEA beams decreases. The influence of the beam waist parameter w0 on the scintillation reduction depends on the turbulent condition and the Airy control parameter. For the effects of Airy control parameters α on beam scintillation, an increasing and decreasing phenomenon is presented for the weak and moderate turbulence, which differs from the scintillation behavior in the strong turbulence. The optical communication performance of FEA beams is briefly studied, and the average bit error rate is presented. These results indicate controllable propagation properties by adjusting beam source parameters and can find potential applications in optical communication in turbulent environments.
