Single-Atom Catalysts In article number 2408286, Lorenzo Mino, Gianfranco Pacchioni, Gianvito Vilé, and co-workers investigate the structure of nickel-based single-atom catalysts (SACs) supported on carbon nitride. By integrating stepwise synthesis, spectroscopy, and computational modeling, they challenge the conventional model of SACs and propose a revised structure that better aligns with experimental findings. This is relevant for the design and understanding of next-generation SACs for sustainable catalytic applications.
