Scavenger Resin Assisted Solution-phase Synthesis of N-phenylhomoph-thalimide Derivatives and Study on Their Herbicidal Activities

Nine N-phenylhomophthalimide derivatives with the purities of 70%~95% were synthesized via solution-phase synthesis utilizing scavenger resin. The structures were confirmed by 1H NMR , IR, MS and elemental analysis. The preliminary herbicidal tests showed that some of the compounds exhibited herbicidal activity to Abutilon avicennae, Portulaca oleracea, Amaranthus spinosus at 150 g.ai·ha -1 .
