摘要
The products of the reaction between zero-valent iron and nitrobenzene are Fe2 +and aniline, while aniline is the groundwater contaminant. Sulfate free radicals can degrade aniline with its strong oxidability, and they can be produced by persulfate activated by Fe2 +. The authors studied the influences of some factors such as the initial concentrations of Fe2 +,sulfate and aniline,pH and temperature, which were investigate to affect the aniline degradation. The results indicate that: 1 Sulfate free radicals produced by persulfate activated with Fe2 +,can oxidized and degrade the target pollutant aniline fastly and effectively. The optimum degradation rate of aniline reached 86. 33% under the condition of 3. 3 mmol /L Fe2 +,4.4 mmol/L PS and 1 000 mg/L aniline. 2Low concentrative aniline was degraded more effectively in the system. The degradation rates of aniline increased from86. 33% to 90. 27% when the initial concentrations of the contaminant reduced from 1 000 mg /L to 500 mg /L,and it increased to 97. 16% when the concentration of aniline was 100 mg /L. 3 Initial pH had a great impact on the aniline degragation,as the degragation rate was higher under the neutral condition( around pH = 7) than the alkaline( pH = 9,11) or acidic( pH = 3,5) conditions. 4 The effect of the temperature in the system on the degradation rate was not notable.
