It is found that the weak ECL signal, generated from electrooxidation fluoresce in on the surface of the screenprinted carbonbased electrode, is greatly enhanced by the tetracycline. Based on this observation, a selective ECL method for the tetracycline is put forward. Under the optimum experimental conditions developed, the detection limit of tetracycline is 7.0×10-7g/mL, and the linear range for detention tetracycline is 1.0×10-6~3.0×10-4g/mL with the relative standard deviation of 2.4%(c=1.0×10-5g/mL,n=11).
