Research progress in Transition Metal-catalyzed Synthesis of Selenides

Selenium ethers compounds are important intermediates, chiral ligands and functionals, while also have the biochemical and pharmacological effects. Selenium ethers compounds are one of the hot research topics in organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry and materials. In this article, transition metal-catalyzed synthesis of symmetrical diselenide, symmetrical selenide, and asymmetric selenide was introduced.
