Effect of Sample Parameters before Purification and Enrichment on Panax Notoginseng Saponions Ingredients

Objective To investigate the effects of purification and enrichment sample parameters,such as pH,sodium chloride concentration and time,on Panax notoginseng saponions ingredients.Methods The content of panax notoginseng saponins,Ginsenoside Rg1,Ginsenoside Rb1,and Sanchinoside R1 in 3 different samples of different period of liquid were determined by UV,TLC.Results After 72 h,contents of Ginsenoside Rg1 were increased(P0.01);contents of Sanchinoside R1 were reduced(P0.05);and contents of Ginsenoside Rb1 had no significant difference;contents of Panax notoginseng saponions in of sample pH5.5 and sample pH7.0 were both increased(P0.05);and the content of Panax notoginseng saponions in sample pH5.5 with 4% of sodium chloride had no significant changes.Conclusion In the purification and enrichment process: pH value,inorganic salt concentration,and time can influence content changes of Panax notoginseng saponions ingredients.
