Taking rice cultivar Guodao No.6 as the tested material, the effects of nitrogen application on the yield of no-tillage transplanted rice and nitrogen utilization ratio were studied. The results indicated that the yield of rice accorded to a single-peak curve with nitrogen level and the rate of basic and tillering fertilizer nitrogen under the condition of no-tillage.Through the regressive simulation, rice could get the highest yield when the application rate of N was 164.4 kg/hm2,and the rate of basic and tillering fertilizer nitrogen was 72.2%.The nitrogen utilization ratio was increased with the increase in the rate of basic and tillering fertilizer nitrogen, and the highest nitrogen utilization ratio was obtained by the combination of N 169.8 kg/hm2 and basic and tillering fertilizer nitrogen rate 75.0%.
