The melt grafting of maleic anhydride (MAH) onto PE/PP was carried out via reactive extrusion. The effects of the contents of MAH, initiator (DCP) and PP on the system were studied. The results showed the mutual effects of DCP and MAH on the system were important; the effects were not obvious when the contents of DCP and MAH were low, but when the contents were up to a certain extent, and the content of DCP was 10% of that of MAH, the graft ratio would be the maximum. The addition of PP with proper viscosity and structure would make the graft ratio change little, resulted in obvious increase of the melt mass and flow rate of the system .
