In the B−Δ approach, the epicentral distance (⁠Δ⁠, as unknown and dependent parameter) is estimated from the initial slope (coefficient B⁠, as known and independent parameter) of the acceleration waveform in a logarithm scale. Routinely, coefficient B results from a curve fitting, that is, regression, in the form of y=B...
