摘要
A simple method for the decarboxylation of aromatic carboxylic acids using copper nanoparticles (Cu NPs) has been developed under amine-free conditions. A variety of ortho-substituted benzoic acids were effectively decarboxylated under these conditions whereas meta- and para-substituted benzoic acids were less reactive and gave moderate yields of desired decarboxylated products.
