Recently, the need of dc-dc converter goes on increasing for various application, to meet this requirement new converters are available like thyristor chopper, buck-boost, non isolated converter, cuk, flyback and sepic converter. In this paper we are using single input dual output boost converter in which boost converter is used as positive output converter and a cuk converter as a negative output converter by using digital signal controller (DSC). It has many advantages like high voltage gain, low ripple in the input as well as output side. It is compact and light weight circuit. The only drawback is discontinuity in the current. The cuk is better in this sense as it allows for a current flow path throughout its operation with lesser source capability limitation. The validation of result are carried out by using MATLAB SIMULINK and hardware implementation.
