The anti-extrusion forming process of AZ80 magnesium alloy wheels was taken as an example to study the influence of press rates and temperature on the anti-extrusion height of AZ80 magnesium alloy based on software Deform.The different height values of anti-extrusion at the same load were researched.When the best velocity is 0.01~0.1 mm/s and forming temperature is 380~400 ℃,the formed wheels could be obtained.The results are significant for the hot forming study of AZ80 magnesium alloy.
