Four Food Poisoning Cases Caused by Staphylococcus Aureus and Its Enterotoxin

Objective Through Staphylococcal enterotoxin analysis to identify Staphylococcus from 10 strains collected from four food poisoning cases.(Methods)According to the National Standard for Food Sanitary Inspection Processing for Microorganisms(GB4789.10-94),Diagnostic criteria and principles of management for food poisoning of Staphylococcus aureus WS/T80-1996,as well as The procedures for Staphylococcal Enterotoxin Test Kit.(Results) Staphylococcus and enterotoxin A were positively identified in all ten samples with one sample containing both enterotoxin A and enterotoxin C.Conclusion In order to prevent food contaminations caused by Staphylococcus and its enterotoxin,it is suggested that the monitor of food hygiene should be strengthened.
