Effects of Calcination on Synthesis of 4A Zeolite Using Coal Fly Ash

Waste fly ash from coal fired power plants is utilized to the synthesis of zeolite. This paper presents the study of calcinations of fly ash and its effects on 4A Zeolite with respect of temperature and time. It is reported that whiteness of 4A Zeolite increases under the optimum condition of calcinations. Instruments such as SEM and XRD are used for investigation.
