A New Chiral Reagent for Measuring the Enantiomeric Purity of Chiral Acids

A new chiral Reagent for measuring the enantiomeric purity of chiral acids hasbeen prepared, its absolut configuration has been asigned by chemical correlation method.Diastereomeric amides have been prepared from this chiral amine and various acids. The NMRspectra of diastereomeric amides show significantly different chemical shifts both in H and Fregions. Satisfactory determination of enantiomeric composition of a series of acids has beenmade.
