Lower Pylon Column Designfor Cable-pylon of Chenta Road Bridge over Huangpu River

The vase-shape cable-pylon is regular in cable-stayed bridges.In this paper,the Chenta Road Bridge over Huangpu River as a background project,its cable-pylon based on solid modeling is made to analyze the mechanical characteristics of short lower pylon column.The problem of thermal action were discussed,research and optimal design for schemes of pre-stress tension were listed.
