Comparison of Three Traditional Methods to Extract Berberine from Coptis chinensis in Laboratory

The effects of extraction time,operating procedures,products yield and purity on the extraction of berberine from Coptis chinensis in laboratory were studied,and both the advantages and disadvantages of three traditional extraction methods were analyzed,the best method for students' experiment was selected.Meanwhile,some suggestions were proposed on the extraction of berberine by ethanol method,which provided basis for the furthur development and utilization of berberine.
