Investigation of soybean rust in kudzu(Pueraria lobata Ohwi)

In order to find out the soybean rust occurring in kudzu(Pueraria lobata Ohwi) of the main origin hosts in Guangxi Province,the investigation was conducted in a wide range of 32 counties during 2005-2007.The results showed the soybean rust(Phakopsora pachyrhiza Syd.) occurred at the cultivar kudzu(Pueraria lobata Ohwi) and wild kudzu (P.lobata(wild) Ohwi) in the whole area of Guangxi Province from 21°78′～26°03′ latitude and 105°91′～111°54′ longitude.But the occurring time was different,the occurring area was the southward area of 23°55′ latitude in winter.The investigation results provided reliable information for the monitoring,forecast,and management of the soybean rust in the future.
