Solving the make-up water problem for boilers in seashore thermal power stations by adopting seawater desalting technology is an inexorable way for maintaining sustainable development of the regional economy.Taking the low-temperature and multi-effect seawater desalting plant equiped for 2×600 MW units in the first-phase project of Guohua Huanghua Power Station as an example, the system composition and technological process of the said plant,as well as the main measuring points of supervision and the control function of its control system have been presented, providing with reference for popularizing low-temperature and multi-effect seawater desalting technology into coastal thermal power stations.
