Application of smoothing operator in seismic prestack depth imaging

The imaging condition and smoothing operator of wave equation prestack depth migration were introduced.The formula used smoothing operator to smooth imaging conditon was derived.The results of the same smoothing function with different smoothing parameters and different smoothing functions with the same smoothing parameter were given.The model test results show that the images are improved when the smoothing parameter is appropriate.With the same smoothing parameter,Gaussian smoothing operator can get relatively good imaging result.
