Pragmatism and Roosevelt's New Deal

Although the philosophy of pragmatism was born and developed in the United States of A- merica,the spirit of pragmatism had long before been deeply rooted in the mind of the American people.It had guided their thought and actions and put great influence on the American society.The New Deal,the most important reform in American history,clearly reflected the spirit of pragmatism.However,the combination of the New Deal with pragmatism was not at all a eoineidonee.It showed the dominant position of pragmatism in American society.
