Application of Self-Cleaning Effect of Lotus Leaf in Development of Antifouling Paints

A review was provided of the application of selfcleaning effect of lotus leaf in the bionic design and preparation of antifouling paints.The design of novel antifouling paints as well as their structural characteristics,fabrication method and application perspective was introduced.Moreover,prospect was given about the development trend of bionic antifouling paints.
