Correlation analysis of drug resistance of Acinetobacter baumannii in our hospital

Objective To discuss the correlation between the consumption of antibiotics and the drug resistance of Acinetobacter baumannii(AB).Methods Retrospective review was used to cacluate the DDDs of antibiotics 100 persons day and resistant rate of AB.The correlation of antibiotics consumption and drug resistance was analyzed by SPSS 19.0 software.Results Drug resistance of AB to various antibiotics decreased year by year.The resistance tares of AB to piperacillin / tazobactam were negatively correlated with the dosage of cephalosporins antibiotics,and to carbapenems was positively correlated with dosage of piperacillin / tazobactam.Conclusion Antibiotics consumption is related to drug resistance of AB,by strengthening management of clinical use of antibiotics to prevent the multidrug-resistant strains.
