摘要
The Solid-State Transformer (SST) is gaining attention as a next-generation transformer, serving as a potential replacement for traditional pole-mounted transformers. The selection of magnetic materials aimed at miniaturization and loss reduction is a critical issue. In this paper, the properties of several candidate materials are measured to identify those suitable for the SST core, followed by the design based on the proposed model specifications. Finite element analysis is employed to calculate the volume and losses for each material, and the trade-offs are evaluated to determine the optimal magnetic material. Furthermore, a prototype transformer is designed using the selected material, and its performance is evaluated.
