摘要
Microvessels play a crucial role in the human body by delivering oxygen, nutrients, and immune cells to tissues. This vascular function extends to tumor biology, including breast cancer, which relies on microvessels for its development and metastasis. Herein, observing the characteristics of microvessels in breast cancer is of great significance. Multiphoton microscopy (MPM) is a novel non-invasive imaging technique that allows for the visualization of microvessels without the need for exogenous contrast agents. In this study, we utilized MPM to image the microvessels in normal and neoplastic breast tissues. Our findings revealed that MPM not only enables visualization of normal microvessels but also different types of differentiated neoplastic microvessels. This lays the foundation for establishing the correlation between the characteristics of microvessels and different subtypes of breast cancer, which will contributing to the advancement of personalized treatment approaches for breast cancer patients.
