Through an analysis on a decoupling theory, a motor power assembly mounting system is designed and all related parameters are computed for selection directed to excitation characteristics of a motor of a certain model. An optimized design scheme is put forward through a test and an analysis on the energy transfer efficiency of a mounting system. I. INTRODUCTION With the rapid development of automobile industry, automobile designs become more and more light and economized; the application of high-power motors and light automobile materials increases vibration amplitude transferred from the motor to the vehicle body. An unbalanced force produced during the operation of the motor and unevenness between a torque and the road surface are main excitation sources (1) for automobile vibration. The motor is one of the most important vibration sources of an automobile; if the vibration produced by the motor cannot be well controlled, other parts and the like for connecting sheet metal components of the vehicle body and a carriage will have abnormal vibration and noise, and the control stability and smoothness of an automobile will be influenced at the same time; even there will be a damage on automobile parts and components, thereby greatly shortening the service life (2,3) of the automobile. Within the range of all automobile working speeds, the vibration produced by a motor shall be isolated by a mounting system so as to reduce the vibration transferred to an automobile chassis and a vehicle body as possible. At the same time, the mounting system shall further isolate the isolation of wheels and the mounting system due to rough road surface to prevent such vibration from being transferred to the motor and avoid intensified vibration of the motor, so as to meet the stability and comfortableness during the operation of a vehicle and ensure the stability of the motor at an idle speed and when stopped. In this paper, a decoupling theory of the mounting system is studied; a method for designing a motor power assembly mounting system of an automobile is put forward; and theoretical analysis and computation (4) are performed on corresponding design parameters.
