Boosting water oxidation on Cu 2 V 2 O 7 using atomic-scale frustrated Lewis pairs

Atomic-scale frustrated Lewis pairs were constructed on Cu 2 V 2 O 7 to synergistically promote O–H bond cleavage, while simultaneously optimizing the proton adsorption/desorption energy barriers at VO 4 tetrahedral active sites.
