LiYb(WO 4 ) 2 :Eu 3+ : a multifunctional phosphor enabling red emission and dual-mode optical thermometry

We present the rational design and multifunctional luminescence of LiYb(WO 4 ) 2 :Eu 3+ , a red-emitting phosphor enabling high-color-purity visible emission, efficient Eu 3+ → Yb 3+ energy transfer, and highly sensitive optical thermometry.
