NEGATIVE HETEROSIS AND DECREASED EFFECTIVENESS OF ALLELES IN HETEROZYGOTES

NTEREST in the causes of heterosis has been renewed again with emphasis I on the possibility of its being due to heterozygosity of single loci. Accordingly, any cases of heterozygotes which show effects outside of the range of phenotypes of the homozygotes deserve attention.
