Scientific Aspects of Plasticizer Migration from Plasticized Pvc Into Liquids

Abstract The polyvinyl chloride (PVC) industry plays an important role in the total plastics industry of today. In most plastics producing countries, PVC is the leading plastic material; in others, for instance the United States and Japan, it is second only to polyethylene. The greater part of PVC is used as soft and plasticized PVC, and PVC applications consume approximately 80% of the total production of plasticizers.
