Duloxetine pharmacokinetics in cirrhotics compared with healthy subjects

The rate of duloxetine elimination is reduced for cirrhotic subjects, making dosage adjustments appropriate. Based on simulations, the duloxetine dose for at least an initial treatment period may need to be reduced and/or less frequently administered for patients with moderate cirrhosis.
