Early-life social isolation stress worsens compulsive- and anxiety-like behaviour and alters gene expression in the prefrontal cortex of SAPAP3 knockout mice

Our findings show that SAPAP3 KO mice are susceptible to the deleterious effects of social isolation stress, and suggest that the PFC may be a particularly stress-sensitive node relevant to obsessive-compulsive-like behaviour.
